The Business Network for Women Managers in Life Sciences was founded in 2002 under coordination of VBU - Vereinigung Deutscher Biotechnologie-Unternehmen (Association of German Biotechnology Companies) and DECHEMA e. V.
Since March 2009, Dagmar Schwertner (BioGenes GmbH, Berlin) manages the Business Network. Vice Chair is Dr. Susanne Simon (TROCKLE Unternehmensberatung).
