Our Goals

What we do

VBU promotes the transfer of research results into market-ready products and services. To this end numerous events are arranged. They bring together different players.
Furthermore, VBU's web-based platform Bio-GAIN (German Academia & Industry Network) was developed. It provides a wealth of opportunities for communication and cooperation on a national and international scale. Additionally, VBU cooperates closely with other national and international organisations in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, diagnostics and also knowledge and technology transfer.
