VBU-Day / BioBusiness Forum

The VBU-Day is a conference session organized annually as part of the DECHEMA Annual Meeting of Biotechnologists (since 2004: BioPerspectives). It focusses especially on the interests of biotech companies and comprises lectures and a panel discussion.

Female Managers Network in Biotechnology
  • Female managers in biotechnology are still a rare species in Germany. In order to change this on a long-term basis, this network was founded for female managers in biotechnology. The female managers network normally meets twice a year.

VBU Guide
  • The German Guide of German Biotech R&D Companies is an impressive showcase of the research-focussed German biotechnology industry, it has now been revised for the fourth consecutive year. It is published by the Association of German Biotech Companies (Vereinigung deutscher Biotechnologie-Unternehmen - VBU), Bio-Deutschland and DIB. It contains the company profiles of about 100 German high-tech biotech companies.
